Only users with a corporate email address that verifies their association with a broadband service provider are allowed to join. Why? Validated members  provide a more controlled and exclusive environment for collaborations.

We review and process applications to join the BorderHawk Cyber Community every 12 hours on weekdays.

What is the BorderHawk cyber community?

This online group offers a valuable platform for professionals in charge of cyber risk management to sharpen their skills, stay updated on industry developments, and enhance their overall effectiveness in handling security and operational challenges.

The BorderHawk cyber community was created exclusively for professionals occupying leadership positions. The topics covered include information risk management, operational maturity, and compliance.

  • Alert Escalation Process Learning: Members can engage in discussions and access resources that help them understand and refine the alert escalation process.

  • Cyber Incident Investigation Training: The group offers educational content and case studies that guide members through the process of investigating cyber incidents, helping them develop practical skills to manage and respond to security events.

  • Cyber Breach Reporting Guidance: Information and templates are provided to help IT professionals navigate steps for reporting cyber breaches, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices (*).

  • Curated Alarms and Alerts: Members receive daily, curated alerts relevant to the telecommunications industry, helping them stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and critical events.

Why was the BorderHawk cyber community created?

Alert Management: Cyber alert management ensures timely response to threats, minimizing damage, and protecting systems from potential security breaches and vulnerabilities.


Stronger Sense of Community: By combining social and educational aspects, BorderHawk helps members build connections with like-minded individuals interested in cyber risk management, enhancing learning experiences and motivation.

What to expect?

Once you join, you will see a list of industry focused groups.  While anyone can join the main group “The Lobby”, only members who participate in the community are invited to join the alerts sharing group, the online classes, and the SIER group. But do not worry, you will be invited to join these groups if you are an active member in our community.

Write a constructive comment to two posts in the “The Lobby” group. An invitation to join this group will be emailed to you within 24 hours.
